Calathea Roseopicta Medallion 'Zebra' Plant

Calathea Plants, native to tropical South and Central America, Africa, and the West Indies, are grown primarily for their beautiful, brightly colored, upright, oval leaves. The various Calathea varieties have leaves with purple undersides and various vibrant colorful patterns on the top side.

    • Calathea plants prefer to grow in shaded rooms with indirect light
    • They thrive in humidity!
    • Allow the top 2 to 3 inches of soil to dry before watering. Never let a Calathea plant sit in water
    • You can use 3 to 4 ice cubes to water your plant. This prevents water from spilling out when watering, helps prevent overwatering your plant, and allows the roots to soak up all the water as the ice cubes melt
    • This Calathea is non-toxic to pets
